Nissan

Working in partnership with Nissan I managed a variety of their digital creative campaigns that took advantage of data and dynamic solutions. This included different approaches to both display and video solutions that helped Nissan achieve their goals while developing relevant and inspiring creative personalized to their customers.

Geo Targeted display

Nissan wanted more personalized, interactive display ads. I worked with the previous art director to figure out what lessons could be learned from previous creative that they had ran in the past to create a new concept that met their needs. I developed initial foundation sizes to get alignment with the client on the overall layout and functionality of the wireframe and then based on their feedback built out a static concept in 14 sizes. From that point I collaborated with my creative technology and production teams to figure out how to build it with the proprietary tools we had available. I proceeded to then build out the base of the build and then have custom development done to finalize things like custom text grouping, maps, and animations. This template supports campaigns with dynamic vehicle and service offers paired with lifestyle or standalone vehicle images, along with geo personalized maps and dealer information.

dynamic Video

Nissan was looking for a way to make more of an impact when it came to video while also extending the lifespan of the video assets they had. This lead to the development of a video treatment that allowed for geo personalization along with the ability to support a variety of campaigns. With the ability to dynamically swap out videos, vehicles, and offer lockups this treatment allowed Nissan to get the most out of their videos while tailoring messages to individual consumers.

High Impact Display

Nissan came with the challenge of adding something more impactful to their display creative. They needed space to feature large offer language but wanted to feature their photography assets more prominently. I worked another Art Director to take his initial concept and refine it into something that was more on brand and possible to achieve. This involved reworking several elements to make sure that the wireframe would solve common requests that Nissan had come to us with in the past. From there I collaborated and experimented with our creative technology and production team to figure out how to build the concept in a way that was sustainable and still met client expectations. This included several rounds of creative testing that lead to several adjustments to both the design and custom code. The end result was a simple yet impactful template that leveraged animation to make the most of a small space while being easy to update allowing for quick turn launches.
